My Choice Matters is a project of Council for Intellectual Disability (CID).

We work with people with disability and their families so they can live life their way and get the most out of the disability system.

Our goal is to help you learn and practice new ways of doing things and develop and grow your skills in Choice, Voice and Control. We believe it is important that you have these three qualities in your life! Exercising choice and control will not only require new skills and new knowledge, but will also require new thinking and confidence.

An evaluation of My Choice Matters in 2018 found that most people found that information from My Choice Matters was just ‘what they needed’ and that the difficulty of our language and ideas were ‘just right.’
